Position Purpose:

Transnet: Young Professional Internship Opportunities 2024 To gain practical experience and exposure in a position of responsibility and to prove that his education, training, experience and professional development have enabled him to discharge, in full, the responsibilities of a Property Management Professional. The opportunity exposes candidates to the operations, control, maintenance and oversight of real estate and physical property.

Position Outputs:

As a Young-Professional-In-Training, your responsibilities include shadowing various staff members, participating in learning experiences, attending meetings and workshops, and traveling to other working environments to gain practical experience on the following deliverables: • Tenant Management • Lease Management • Property Marketing Management • Facilities Management • Billing and Credit Control • Non Gross Lettable Area (Non-GLA) Management • Risk Management • Performance Management, Talent Management and Capacity Building • Employee Wellness, Change Management and Culture Building • HR System & Governance & Employee Relations.

Undertake various projects aligned to the outcomes of this programme, and further lead and contribute to initiatives and programmes in both property and facilities management including: • Contract Management • Maintenance Management • Engineering Management • Facilities Management • Environmental Management • Space Management • Health & Safety Compliance • Utilities Management • Security Management

Qualifications and Experience:

Relevant tertiary Qualification

  • (NQF 6/7) Bachelor of Science or Commerce in Property Studies Property Valuation, or other
  • Real Estate Related Stream or Information Management, Data Science or Finance..
  • National Diploma in real estate studies (NQF 6) are encouraged.
  • Postgraduate Studies are an added advantage
  • Some vocational experience would be an added advantage
  • A positive attitude and a growth mindset is an absolute.
